French Toast
A traditional hot breakfast food.

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 8 slices of bread (whole wheat works (holds together) better than white here)
- Cooking spray or butter

- Metal bowl
- Fork
- Measuring cup
- Measuring spoon
- Skillet or griddle
- Spatula
Instructions
- Crack the eggs into the bowl.
- Beat eggs lightly with the fork.
- Add milk, salt, and vanilla to the eggs.
- Beat eggs lightly again to mix everything in.
- Heat skillet or griddle and grease with cooking spray or butter.
- One at a time, dip a slice of bread into the egg mixture (use the fork to dunk it under), then put the soaked slice onto the skillet or griddle.
- Cook each side until golden brown.
- Serve, two slice of French toast per person.
- Eat.
Variations
- For more people, adjust the amount of ingredients (for example, double them to serve 8 people).
- Serve the French toast with various options for toppings, like powdered sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup, or even jelly.
- Substitute maple syrup for the vanilla.
- Try different breads like challah or cinnamon raisin.
